MARINE SCIENCE

CATALINA SCHOOL ADVENTURES

Marine Science camps are offered at Campus by the Sea through Catalina School Adventures (CSA) from March through May and August through October. CSA offers Christ-centered programs with hands-on lessons designed to engage students as they explore God’s creation, identifying and appreciating marine life, island ecology, and conservation. Our oceanfront location and rocky shore bring abundant marine life to observe in their natural habitat. Marine Science camps are offered as one-day, three-day, and five-day programs.

These programs are all run entirely by CSA instructors. Campus by the Sea provides the lodging, facilities, meals, and equipment. CSA is the exclusive outdoor education option at Campus by the Sea, so please direct all inquiries about scheduling, registration and programs to the CSA team. You can find contact and general information at the CSA Website. If you have your own qualified instructors and would like to inquire about using our facility for your own program, please go to our guest group site to find more information and to fill out the group inquiry form.

“The Catalina Trip is one of our hallmark middle school experiences where sixth graders have an opportunity to learn all about God’s amazing creation.”

- Brian Bell, Head of Schools at Redlands Christian Schools

“I personally look forward to our fall trip with Catalina School Adventures at Campus by the Sea on Catalina Island each year. The students learn about God’s creation through marine biology and bond with each other as they explore tide pools, kayak, snorkel, hike, and more!”

- Tara Morrow Principal, Grades 4-8 Oaks Christian School
